Snake skins worth Rs 3-cr seized near Mumbai

Sleuths of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) today seized around 50,000 kgs of snake skins near here valued at around Rs 3 crore in the international market.
The skins, hidden in 600 gunny bags, were found in a container at Nhava-Shiva port at Uran, around 40 kms from here, DRI sources said.
The container was lying at the port for the last two days and it was bound for Singapore, they said, adding no one has been arrested in connection with the seizure.
